Fairy-Tale Dolls
Knitting Pattern PDF
All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required. They are small pocket-size dolls.
The sample is made with 4-ply (fingering) yarn; however, it is possible to make them with DK (8-ply) yarn with larger needles to produce slightly larger dolls. The bodies share a fundamental pattern that is identical to that of the previously published Pinocchio doll.
The knitting process is uncomplicated, requiring only basic knit and purl skills. Take care when sewing up. Experience in doll-making is advantageous. If you encounter difficulty with the hair-sewing technique provided, consider using backstitches to sew each hair in place.
