Yarn used Lighthouse: 5g white, blue, 3g red DK (8-ply)

Crab: 5g red DK

Seagull: 5g off-white, small amounts of black, grey, yellow, and dark brown DK

Baby turtle: small amounts of brick brown, honey yellow DK

Starfish: 5g yellow, a small amount of orange DK

*You only need small amounts. Please feel free to use oddments of yarn in your stash. If you need to buy some, tapestry wool may be handy.

Tension 26 sts x 38 rows = 10cm measured over Stst, but it is not essential

Needles used: A pair of 2.75 mm (US 2) DPN knitting needles

*DPNs are to make i-cords. All patterns are knitted flat.

Other supplies: Chenille needle or tapestry needle with a fairy shart point and a large eye

Toy stuffing

For Lighthouse, cardboard cut into circles 6cm, 5.5cm, 4cm, and 3.5cm in diameter. (2.35, 2.15, 1.6, 1.38 in)

Size Light house; 13cm, Crab; 6cm, Seagull; 9cm, Baby turtle; 3cm, Starfish; 6cm

The knitting technique is basic knit and purl.
