Little Pirates
Knitting Pattern PDF
Finished size: Boat, 15cm long, 4cm high, 19cm with the flag, 10cm wide. Pirates, 6cm tall, Parrot, 3.5cm tall.
All components of this project are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. Circular knitting is not required. The boat's base is reinforced with cardboard, and a template is included in the file. The flag has a wooden chopstick in the center.
To complete the project, various colours of yarn in small quantities will be needed. The boat and pirates are crafted using DK (8-ply) yarn, while the flag requires 4-ply yarn. Eyes are common beads with holes in the centres. Use embroidery if you do not wish to use beads.
Double-pointed needles (DPNs) are used to produce i-cords for the small arms. If DPNs are unavailable, transfer the stitches to the working needle after each row is completed. The pattern includes i-cord instructions.
The crochet hook is required to pick up stitches and make chains. It does not need to be precisely 3mm.
Please note that this set is not intended as a toy for young children.
