Mini Teepees and Native Americans
Finished size: Teepee 14cm, Boy 9cm, Girl 5cm sitting height
The teepee tents are supported with a strong cardboard ring at the base for stability, which can be created by repurposing a core of packing tape. The ring has a diameter of 7cm/3in and is incorporated into the tent frames along with bamboo skewers.
The project calls for small amounts of DK (8-ply) yarn. It is a good opportunity to use up your stash. Feel free to use any colour of your choice. If you do not wish to use beads for the eyes, embroider them with black yarn.
The crochet hook is to make chains and does not need to be precisely 3mm.
7 pages with teepee assembly photos.
