The Enormous Turnip

£5.00

Knitting Pattern PDF

Finished size: Turnip, 10cm in diameter, human figures, 9-11cm, dog, 6cm, cat 5cm, mouse 1cm.

All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required.

The characters’ bodies are knitted with DK (8-ply) yarn except for the mouse. The outfits are sewn to the bodies and are not removable. The turnip is worked with two 4-ply (fingering) yarn held together. The crochet hook is to make chains and does not have to be precisely 3mm. 3mm black beads have been sewn onto the heads of the human figures, dog, and cat, while the mouse has 2mm beads. These beads are versatile jewellery beads that have a centre hole.

The figures cannot stand independently and require support or attachment to the thick felt sheet. It's important to note that the mouse is small in size and not suitable as a toy for younger children.
